One of our proudest moments as a company was the installation of cabinets imported from Germany in a penthouse located in Downtown Boston. The cabinets were not only stylish and functional, but they were also designed to maximize the view of the Charles River. The installation required a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure that the cabinets fit seamlessly into the space and did not obstruct the stunning view. To achieve this, we were tasked with connecting the dining room to the living room by removing the wall separating them. We approached the project with careful consideration for the original 18th century crown molding that adorned the space. To ensure that the molding remained intact and undamaged, we worked closely with skilled craftsmen to carefully remove the wall without causing any harm to the intricate details of the molding. We then went on to refinish the hardwood floors, plaster and paint the walls to create a cohesive and contemporary living space that perfectly complements the classic charm of the original molding. The end result is a stunning blend of modern and traditional elements, which perfectly captures the spirit of Boston’s rich colonial heritage.
